Project Overview Utility Relocation construction

Here’s the contractor who’s working on the utility relocation contract for the future Moscone Station and  Portal Tunnel on Fourth Street between Howard to Bryant Streets. Utility relocation work will be performed from January 2010 to approximately June 2011.

Synergy Project Management, Inc. (SPM), a local San Francisco business with years of experience in construction and engineering began utility relocation in mid January 2010.  SPM has been performing public works contracts for the City and County of San Francisco for many years and is looking forward to the opportunity of being part of this amazing subway project.  SPM has a track record of completing projects ahead of schedule and is committed to completing this project ahead of schedule, on budget, with quality that not only meet, but exceed expectations. Scope of this contract includes relocation of utilities to allow for construction of future tunnel and stations.

    I am working on a project paper and would like to know the type of power vault that is used to power the Muni LRT (or electric buses). Perhaps the manufacturer, voltage, AC or DC, and the overhead (purchase and cost to maintain). Your assistance is greatly appreciated.
