We are building two tunnels. When the Central Subway opens, one tunnel will be used for northbound trains and the other for southbound trains.

To construct the tunnels, we are starting in the south and heading north. The direction in which we construct the tunnels has no relation to the direction T Third Line trains will travel through them in the future.

No wonder Muni is so messed up. It doesn’t even know which way is north or south. Someone please buy them a compass.
