Starting in SoMa: On 4th Street between Folsom and Howard, construction to prepare for tunneling

Construction is now underway on 4th Street near the intersection with Folsom Street. Since breaking ground in January 2011, contractor Synergy Project Management has finished relocating a variety of utility lines around Union Square to prepare for construction of the Union Square/Market Street Station.
